Who do you see?

I work with men & women ages 18+ using an integrative, non-religious approach. I am allied with and welcome the LGBTQ+ community to my practice where you will be treated as a whole person. Emotional imbalances not only impact us mentally, but also physically, relationally, spiritually, and within the larger community. Even when an issue appears to be contained to one part of life, rarely is that the case. Therefore, I don’t limit therapeutic interventions to the problems disclosed at the beginning of treatment. I work from an attachment, attuned neurobiological lens that addresses nervous system imbalances (emotional reactivity, anxiety, PTSD, and negative core beliefs). I will also teach you practical self-care skills to navigate stressful experiences & increase resilience. I believe you are the expert of your life; let’s work together to uncover your empowered self!

Do you accept insurance?

I do not currently accept insurance. I encourage you to check with your insurance company to see if they provide full or partial reimbursement for out-of-network therapy. I am happy to provide you with a monthly superbill (itemized receipt of services) for submission to your insurance.

Why don’t you accept insurance?

I don’t accept insurance because I believe it potentially places clients at risk and jeopardizes client privacy. Insurance companies require an official diagnosis in order to pay for treatment. This information becomes part of your medical record, which may become stigmatizing or create difficulty obtaining future treatment. Additionally, insurance companies can require practitioners use short-term solution focused interventions and limit the number of covered sessions. I believe all of these choices belong to you, the client. I will support you when considering these decisions.

What are your fees?

60 minute individual intake session $250
50 minute individual follow up sessions $175
60 minute couples intake session $325
50 minute couples follow up sessions $250

Extended session times are available and should be scheduled a minimum of two weeks in advance; fees will be discussed at scheduling.

Reduced session fee requests are handled on a case by case basis. I work from a waitlist and revisit it every 3 months or when a sliding scale spot becomes available.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations within 48 hours of a scheduled session will be billed at 50% of the full rate. Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled session will be billed at the full session rate. Please note a scheduled appointment means I have specifically set aside time for you. Last minute cancellations disrupt the treatment process. Late cancellations due to emergencies & unexpected illness will be considered on a case by case basis and applicable fees adjusted accordingly.
